Radiopticon Video Documentation

Radiopticon consists of an early photograph projector that was used to show postcards in the early 1900’s. The projector physically reads as a camera/video projector. It travels the exhibition space on an iCreate programmable platform. When it encounters a visitor it turns around and plays random videos that critique historical and contemporary tourism, ecotourism, time travel, the economic impact of the globation of travel, and the historical use of photography as a device that records memory.
